Peggy E. Pate-Smith

Peggy E. Pate-Smith grew up in Georgetown, Texas where she spent many hours on her front porch reading books and writing in her journal.  She graduated from Abilene Christian University with a bachelors in elementary education and a Mrs. degree thanks to William Smith.  She has two children and two dogs.  She taught her children to read, but the dogs have never shown an interest in learning so she reads aloud to them. She has a masters in education from Endicott College in Boston and currently teaches jr. high in a public Montessori school in Jackson, Tn.
